How to Release Shame and Step into Spiritual Pride

Healing Shame Opens You to Spiritual Pride

The 5th Chakra Helps Release Issues of Shame

Energy Connection Tip of the Day:  In order to release shame, you must accept that your word and worth mean something.  In stepping into your value, you enable spiritual pride in your authentic self.

Shame occurs when we are judged for what we say or have to suppress what we want to share.

In a world that celebrates the norm, speaking out can get you in trouble.  However, not vocalizing your thoughts, opinions and emotions can cause all kinds of dis-ease and dis-comfort.

Releasing shame and integrating spiritual pride is part of become an enlightened and aware being.

Shame comes from being unsure of yourself and having your boundaries and self-worth constantly tested.

In my experience of working with clients, shame is expressed through low self-esteem, low self-confidence and feelings of being ignored.

Suppressing shame can limit a person from knowing what they want in life and hold them back from expressing their needs effectively, thus propagating the role of a victim.

What are 3 ways to Release Shame and Step into Spiritual Pride?

1.  Validate yourself and your worth

You mean something, and your words and feelings are important.  If you don’t validate yourself, who will?  Align yourself to the highest vision your hold of your Divine Nature and step into your power now!

2.  Share how you feel without attachments to results

If someone hurt you, write them a letter and let them know.  If your family created dysfunction in your life, write them a letter or tell them and release yourself from carrying the responsibility of having to carry other’s emotions.  You must return to peace within yourself.

3.  Strengthen your boundaries

Learn to express your desires and needs and to stand firmly in who you are.  When you sense that others want something that is negative from you or try to suppress you in being yourself, let them know what your boundaries and expectations are.  If they do not respect it, then walk away because you do not have to own it.  It is NOT YOURS!

Much Love & Blessings!

Ego….please step aside

Energy Connection Tip of The Day:

More than anything, you are being called to go within and ask for what is needed in your life. In connecting with your higher self, you ask for your ego to step aside and bring to you the next steps to unfolding your Divine Path.

In the unfolding of the Divine Path, we honor that we are walking a labyrinth on this journey called LIFE.  If there ever was a time to pay attention and see what your actions, words, and thoughts are doing to contribute to your external circumstances….that time is NOW!

We have been given a very important job and that is to evolve.  Some people may not believe it.  Regardless of whether they do or not, the process still occurs.  We are Ascending, Communing, and Growing in our spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical bodies.  We are becoming radiant beings of Light.

The ego is an inseparable part of our body and psyche.  The challenge is allowing ourselves to maintain control our ego, not the other way around.  The ego is selfish and self-centered. Many altruistic and compassionate behavior come from a higher state of being.  In attempting balance, we return to wholeness. In returning to wholeness, we align ourselves to the Divine Will.  In aligning ourselves to our Divine Path, we put into actions the work that we were meant to do. In living our purpose, we reach happiness, security, and financial rewards.

So I encourage you to create that space and have the ego step aside.  You may be surprised at what you find!!

Radiate Your Divine Blueprint

Energy Connection Tip of The Day: Radiate all that you are meant to do for your Divine Blueprint is constantly being expressed through your words, works, and thoughts.

I recently taught an IET Intermediate Class this past weekend and we were talking about the different layers of the human energy field.  One thing that stuck out at me again was how our mental layer is encoded with our Divine Blueprint’s plan and what we do, think, act, and be is affected in how our Divine Blueprint is expressed.

Here’s a great story that may relate to what I’m talking about:

James (not his real name) was a struggling musician and artist.  All he really wanted to do was play and create beautiful works of art, whether that be paintings, sculptures or metal.  He spent an astounding amount of time creating and struggling to do what he loved.  When he participated in art shows, he was well received.  When he played guitar and sang in his band, the audience went wild.

All this would have been good except that James’s parents wanted him to go to college and become a doctor.  They actually put down his artistic talents despite the fact that he did miserably in school and even withdrew failing from some classes.  Still they put the pressure on him because they wanted him to have a “stable career.”

In order to keep the peace in the family and to make his parents happy, James decided to stop doing any of his art or music and focus solely on completing his college education.  He did not become a doctor but rather an accountant and got  a secure job at a large investment firm.  He worked 60+ hour weeks. He hated his job.  But his parents were happy.  He even started dating a girl he had nothing in common with, but whom his parents adored.

It seemed that James was living someone else’s dream.  That would have been fine and dandy, but James became sick.  What initially started as abdominal pain eventually turned into colon cancer.  While James’s secure job and its insurance company paid for his surgery and treatment, it didn’t pay for the heaviness and emptiness James felt.

After leaving the hospital, James knew he had to make a change.  He decided to sell his house, break up with his girlfriend, quit his job, and move to Austin, TX where he could start over and figure things out.  What happened next was truly a remarkable journey.  James began enrolling in art classes at the community college and playing in some jam bands with the people he met at school.  Soon, he was playing live shows and creating studio albums.  He even had some stunning work displayed in one of the fine museums.  He was happy.  He was healthy.  He was secure.

When James’s parents came to visit him, they were shocked.  They didn’t recognize the bearded, bright-eyed, smiling, and disheveled looking man as their son.  They certainly did not approve of all the art work and musical instruments that lined his house.

“What are you doing for work?” his father asked.

“I’m supporting myself with studio sessions and art shows.  I’ve got a tour lined up to play at some festivals and that should take care of the year’s rent and bills.”

“But what about your savings?” his mother asked, horrified.”What if you lose everything.”

James smiled and looked at his parents.  “I already lost everything when I decided to live my life for someone else.  My savings went out the window when I began saving to live right now. That’s all I have.  Right now.  Being sick taught me that.”

“But what about your future?” his father and mother asked in unison.

James looked out the window and smiled. “I am doing EVERYTHING that I AM suppose to do, that I came down here to do, that I was meant to do.  This present IS my future.  And if I don’t live my life the way I was intended to, then I am cheating myself of my Divine Path.  I AM not afraid of what might happen next.  I only believe that it is part of who I am meant to be.”

Then he picked up his guitar and sang.  His parents sat silent, dumbfounded by the sheer courage and eloquence their son expressed in living his life without fear.

Are you ready to radiate your Divine Blueprint?  I AM!!

The Power of Saying ‘YES!’

I use to go out with a really nice guy many years ago who would buy these little business books about customer service.  He would also buy and handwrite thank you cards and give cards just for the heck of it.

I was always fascinated and a little turned off by how much he paid attention to his customers.  Why turned off?  Because I felt like he went above and beyond the “call of duty.”  What a great teacher he proved out to be.

Now that I am in my practice and offering sessions for clients, I realize the importance of creating great customer service, follow through and showing up and saying “YES!!!!”

What is the power of saying YES?

I feel like the power of a YES gives the Universe permission to act upon your behalf and deliver the “goods” to your door.  It affirms that you believe and receive.  It creates the opportunity for you to take action and step into your power.

Why do people block their YES from coming?

Some people fear change.  Some fear the possibility that what they ask for may come true.  Some people have blockages and limitations that sabotage their progress forward.  Some people ask and at the same time repel what they are asking for.

Do you block your “YES” in your life?

There is a great power that occurs in your life, the Cosmos and your destiny that aligns itself when you say YES.  What occurs is a magical formula for the appearance of that which you are asking for.  However, before the answer appears, the ask must be given and the YES to stamp and place it into motion.

YES has to follow everything you do when you are requesting the appearance or manifestation of something.  That yes will cause you to take action.  That yes will cause you to take responsibility.  That yes will cause you to step up and show up!

How exciting is that?

I find that very exciting!  As a matter of fact, it’s the very thing of showing up and stepping up that makes saying YES so fantastic in business and in life.  I have great respect for people who have the vision for what the YES looks like even before it appears.  They begin to prepare their life for the culmination and execution of their “YES” request. They believe and therefore they are inspired and taking the steps necessary to make it happen.

At the heart of what I do and who I am, every part of me says “YES” to my life, my dreams, my desires, and my goals.  What I say “NO” to are indecision, disbelief, disagreements and inefficiency.  So as your buttons get pushed and activated:

You just have to ask……….

The message of a new year: Opportunity

Opportunity - Exit Here

When the opportunity appears – don’t miss your exit!

Happy New Year!!!

We are at the forefront of our future.  12 months lie ahead waiting for us to fill the pages with our stories, experiences, trials, tribulations, celebrations, and most of all – our opportunities.

I attended a special crystal bowl and tibetan bowl cerremony on New Year’s Eve.  It was a meditation to bring in the intentions of the new year with the power of sound, thought, and desire.  Believe me – I created an epic list of what I am accomplishing in 2011.  The most important message I received in this meditation is that opportunity lies ahead.

It gives me goosebumps to think about how my future is unfolding.  It seems so rich with possibilities, choices, and new beginnings.  It almost seems unreal except that I have spent most of 2010 preparing, researching, working, and planting the seeds which are getting ready to be harvested this year.  What an endeavor it has been!  And there have been moments when I have felt dejected and frustrated that what I wanted was not here NOW.  Well guess what….it is NOW and I AM READY!  Are you?

Opportunity knocks when you least expect it!

When opportunity and inspiration knock – you answer it!! If you hesitate, then you may be telling the Universe that you are not ready for what you have been asking for.  The message of  opportunity is to let your intuition and faith guide you that you are moving in the direction of your highest good.  This means letting doubt, fear, and self-sabotage rest.  This means closing your eyes and taking the Indiana Jones leap of faith.  You can do it!! If you don’t believe in yourself enough to make it happen – who will?

As the potential possibilities open to bringing our dreams to fruition, please bear in mind that you are a vehicle of change! Your existence matters and you make an impact however big or small.  That is the beautiful thing about having the present open up before your eyes.  So choose wisely with your heart and manifest your heart’s desires NOW!!

Watch your dreams grow with the seeds you sow!

One of the most important things you can do to bring in the opportunities of this new year is to clear your space and take the energy of 2010 out of your home.  Also, calling in the intentions for your dreams for 2011 is also very important.  If you find that you have blockages and challenges in bringing in new change and growth – perhaps you can consider looking inside to see what it is within you that may be blocking opportunities from coming.  By releasing what does not serve you for your highest good, you create the opportunities for your life’s path to open.   If you need any assistance with clearing the blocks, releasing the baggages of the past, or creating the energy of opportunity – please – call us! This may be the best new year for you! I certainly feel that way for me!!!  Many blessings and abundant opportunities to you!

One Love!

Anne

Before you ask, give thanks!

I recently heard a great message in an audiobook program about the power of prayer.  It is not uncommon for people to ask for things they want or need in life.  I do the same myself.  Then I wait…and wonder…and then finally ask…where is it?

If you’ve seen The Secret or read any self-empowering books, then you know that one of the key ingredients for the appearance of good fortune and blessings is gratitude.  Sure, it’s an easy enough conversational piece to throw around and say ‘Thank You’ automatically.  We have even abbreviated the gratitude to ‘Thanks’ as we rush about our busy world.  Very rarely do we take the time to be mindful in our gratitude for every little thing.  And I mean every little thing!

From the food you eat, to the friends you love, to the family that ‘drives you crazy’, to the blessings of  your health –  these are just a few listings of the possible things we could be thankful for.  So why do we need more?

Let’s face it.  We live in a materialistic, throwaway culture.  If we can be that way about our materials and environment – are  we that way with ourselves?  It seems so from my observation of studying people as a nurse for over 12 years.  So what needs to shift within someone for real change to come?  And how do you tell someone who may be hopeless, dejected, and debilitated that their attitude may be contributing to their reality?  And what if someone doesn’t believe it.  What do you do?

I say NOTHING! You can not shift people who are not emotionally, psychologically, or spiritually ready.  All you can do is give thanks for the blessings that you DO HAVE and live a life of exemption and example.  And when these same people wonder – why are you so blessed and I have little – perhaps they will be ready to ask you what your secret is.   What you can do is share your practices, affirmations, methods, and victories – always pointing back to the Source of All that has blessed you.  And in redirecting this focus back to Great Spirit, you too will be rewarded with success and positive outcomes.

The difference you make by giving thanks prior to asking for your blessings is one of a conscious attention to be reunited with The Great Spirit in order to tap in to the Universal Life Force and be filled to overflowing with Divine Grace.  And upon asking, you will have already known what that feels to receive the bounty of being blessed.  For it to manifest requires you to hold space within yourself to receive that which you ask for.  No one else can do this for you.  And it would not be fair to ask someone else to do this job for you.  This is part of your soul’s path in learning how to be, receive, and allow.  I wish you the best of luck and celebrate all that you are, all that you have, and all that you are meant to be!

Stay Blessed!
