Aligning Yourself with Grace During the Holy-Days

Life feels busy right now.  Preparing for the holidays is like a trek through a consumer jungle.  I look forward to the countdown of not planning, shopping or preparing.   How do you align yourself with grace during the holy-days? It begins with breathing…..

“Align and Breathe in Light”

Align Yourself with Grace during these Holy-days

Align Yourself with Grace during these Holy-days

If there is one thing you can do that will keep you grounded and align yourself with grace during these times, it’s to remember to breathe. Breathing in the essence of Great Spirit will help funnel your energy into a more directed and conscious path for it is your connection to Life Force.

When you choose to breathe in Light, you bring energy to all your cells, thoughts, actions and vibrations.  This will lift you up higher than the “wants” and “reactions” of the world around you.

I encourage you to start your day with 3 deep grounding breaths – giving thanks and SMILING!!!  Starting to feel lighter yet?

“Be Patient and Watch the Alignment”

When you choose patience and receptivity, you implicitly trust in what The Universe is going to bring you.

For all practical purposes, humankind was created with limited vision, foresight and understanding.  We are given only as much as we can handle.  This fail-safe mechanism is actually a saving grace as knowing too much would overwhelm our sensitive circuitry.  In practicing patience, we wait for the answers to reveal themselves.  It is quite easy to drive yourself mad with expectations, misdirected information and uncontrolled rampage of thoughts unchecked.  Do yourself a favor….don’t go there.

Not sure how to change your reactions and vibrations?  I invite you to be in stillness (even for 5 minutes) and ASK!

How to Align Yourself with Grace during these Holy-Days!!

1.  Find moments to return to your center and ground.

2. Listen without judgement – for yourself or for others.

3. Honor everyone’s path and their journey of self-discovery.

4.  Act and speak from your heart center.  Think of others as they are not what you would want them to be.

5. Be grateful for the blessings that you have been given.

May you all have a joyful and blessed Holy-Days!

Be Still and Listen

Energy Connection Tip of the Day: In understanding our path, we must become still and listen for Great Spirit is always speaking to us. In honoring our Divinity, we must trust that what we hear is for our highest and best good.

What does this mean?

We live in a busy time and our lives are packed to the gills with things to do, places to see, and people to meet.  So scattered and on the run are we that we often do not get the downtime needed to connect to Great Spirit.  In connecting to the Source, we are able to renew our energy and life force.

Many people I meet often say that they have a difficult time “meditating” because their minds and thoughts are too busy.  Authors such as Eckart Tolle talk about the mind and ego and encourage us to detach and watch what the mind does.  That’s a pretty difficult order when being still is challenging and unplugging from a stimuli-rich world becomes a necessity.

I recently told my daughter that we would have no tv from Sunday through Thursday because she is in school.  At first, she put up a “fight” and told me it was “no fair.”  Then as the days and weeks crept by, she would ask if she could watch maybe 1 night of tv.  Sometimes I relented.  I am human too, you know.  Other times, I said no.

Instead, we spent our evenings either reading or practicing a “whale meditation” to slow our heartbeat and circadian rhythm down.  What I noticed was that after doing a simple 5-10 minute meditation together, we both were more grounded and calm.   Any questions of the TV for the evening subsided.  And – we began to communicate and do things together more.

I recently was informed by my Guides and Spirit that I was to receive some Akashic Record Transmissions.  My first transmission was a heavy message and I didn’t realize that we are in a state of a dire emergency on our planet.  It required being still and listen to the message.  In hearing and following the advice of the Great Masters, Teachers, Loved Ones, Angels, and The Creator –  I am more calm and focused.

Why is it important to be calm and focused during this time?

In order to be effective as a healer, I must continually practice clearing myself of issues to be a clear and perfect channel for The Divine. People call me from all over the world needing clarity.  It is not fair for them if I am not present.  Because I take my work seriously and I love what I do, finding moments of stillness serves my clients and my daughter well.

How Do I Become Still and Listen?

The best thing you can do is incrementally build up to more time that allows you stillness.  I found that doing a simple meditation and pretending that I was a whale made a HUGE difference.  Whales move slowly and gracefully through the water.

This meditation is an exercise in pretending you are a whale and swimming in a spiral with other whales.  As you swim in this sprial, you begin to sink deeper and deeper into the depths of the ocean.  As you sink deeper, your heart rate slows down and your breathing expands.

You do not go to sleep but rather lay in a suspended state of deep meditation.  When you find that your mind wanders, you take the opportunity to look with your whale eyes at your surroundings, looking up and seeing the whales above you, looking sideways and glimpsing your smooth, grey body, looking down and seeing the whales circling below you and looking within at your huge and agile body.

Start first with 5 minutes and progressively work up to 15 minutes, then 30 minutes then 1 hour.  You will find that your connection to the Creator becomes stronger as you honor your relationship to the flow of the Universe.  Then in finding stillness and calm, you return home to yourself in peace.

Many blessings and Love,

Anne

When the going gets tough…

When the going gets tough….look inside for your answers.   You’ve heard that phrase before.  When the going gets tough….the tough gets going.  Well where are you going?  If you’re going outside of yourself for guidance on your questions, you may find a lot of answers that mislead you from your truth.

No one can know or understand your truth like you do.  You live it.  Breathe it.  Are it!  And when you are going against your truth and your conscience, every part of your body, mind, and spirit feels it.  Yet, you seek advice from your friends, get psychic readings, throw the runes, ask and keep asking. What kind of answer would make you happy?

If the kind of answer you seek is a delusional attempt to support your false livity – then you will still be seeking, lacking the understanding of knowing when to stop and go within.  If the kind of answer you seek is a temporary bandaid for what you don’t want to see, then the problem still exists until you face it.  If the kind of answer you seek is fluff for your ego, then you will not understand why you’re still in pain.  If the kind of answer you seek is precluded with silence and stillness, then perhaps this is what you are looking for.

We live in a world of busyness, activity, and overstimulation.  We are constantly bombarded with advertisements, promotions, and subliminal messages telling us we’re not enough.  So connected are we to our technology that sometimes, we forget what that still, quiet voice sounds like.  In those moments of revering the stillness and connecting to The Creator, we return to The Source of All our answers and The Generator of All our questions.

It is in these moments of time and space that we are allowed entrance back home.  It is never far nor is the door shut so tightly that we cannot gain entrance.  We hold that key within ourselves.  So when the going gets tough – get going and go within.  The answers are waiting for you.
